DWW Festival Day 2 - Owlpen Valley Circular Walk

Owlpen Valley Circular Walk Day: Thursday 8th October Time: 10:00 – 13:00 Start Location: Owlpen Manor car park, GL11 5BZ What3words: ///fuse.parrot.under Distance: 3 miles (4.8 km) Grade: Easy Walk Leader: Hugo Mander Description: This is a circular walk around the private Owlpen valley. The walk aims to take you off the public footpaths as much as possible, giving you a chance to explore parts of this little corner of the escarpment which are so seldom visited. The walk begins with a steep ascent to the top of the escarpment, through enchanting beech woodland. We then trace the line of the Cotswold escarpment around the valley, before dropping down into the calcareous grassland. We finish at the beautiful manor house itself, where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy their picnic in the grounds before returning home.
