Evening Volunteering Session – Afterhours Green Guardians

Join us for an evening of practical volunteering habitat management out in the Heart of England Forest. Join us for an evening getting hands on in the Forest. In this session, you'll support our tree nursery team by transplanting young seedlings into individual cells. Each year, we grow thousands of trees from seed collected across the Forest. The seeds are first sown in trays by species, then, once established, each seedling is carefully transferred into its own pot or cell to grow on until it's ready for planting in the Forest. Spend time in the natural environment, learn new skills, keep fit, and make new friends, with a social sit down at the end of each session. These sessions are perfect for those who want to support the Forest but are unable to volunteer during the day or at weekends. Whether you can join just one session or all of them, your contribution will be greatly appreciated. There’s a specific focus on meeting new people and connecting with the environment, whilst helping to nurture the Forest.
