Get your Bearings! Bike Maintenance Course with Yate Community Bike Hub

Join us at the Yate Community Bike Hub for a FREE 90min introduction to adjusting and maintaining your bearings with mechanic Stewart. We are pleased to be able to host a FREE intermediate-level bike maintenance course, Yate Community Bike Hub, 16 North Walk, Yate Shopping Centre (the end of North Walk, close to the Indian restaurant) For this session we will focus on: - What and where are my bike's bearings - Types of bearings - Maintaining bearings - Diagnosing and fixing common bearing problems The session is interactive and participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes to work on (we recommend wearing gloves and clothes you don't mind getting dirty, bearings can be greasy!). Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. No extensive experience necessary, suitable for age 12+ when accompanied by an adult (please book tickets for all attendees). This course is offered free to participants thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council. If you like what we do, we welcome you to "pay it forward" with a suggested donation of £5 to the Hub on the night so that we can continue to offer courses and events.
