Gloucestershire Tech Week - Day Two: Sovereignty & Resilience Tuesday 13 October 2026 | 09:00 – 17:00 | Hub8 MX, Cheltenham A day spent asking how we can stay ahead in an ever-evolving threat landscape. Resilience is not something you buy once and shelve. Sovereignty is not a slogan. Both come down to deliberate choices. What do you depend on? Who do you depend on? What happens when that dependency is tested? This day looks at the pressures already here and the ones forming now. It asks what it takes to build organisations, infrastructure and supply chains that can absorb a shock and keep moving. Agenda Getting There Venue: Hub8 MX, Minster Exchange, Chester Walk, Cheltenham GL50 3JZ Hub8 MX sits in the heart of Cheltenham town centre, beside Cheltenham Minster and next to the library and The Wilson art gallery. The building has step-free access. By Car There is no on-site parking at Hub8 MX, but several car parks are within easy reach: Euro Car Parks Chester Walk, GL50 3JY - on the venue's doorstep Waitrose Car Park (Google Maps), GL50 3QW - free parking for a maximum of 3 hours, about a 5-minute walk away Chelt Walk Car Park, GL50 3PR Royal Well Car Park, GL50 3DS Blue Badge holders may find on-street parking opposite St Matthew's Church, GL50 3PL, a couple of minutes' walk from the venue. By Bus The venue could hardly be better placed for bus travel. The High Street and Boots Corner stops are just around the corner from Chester Walk, a minute or two on foot. Stagecoach services calling there include the 94X, 99, 66, 10, D and E, with further stops on Clarence Street. By Train Cheltenham Spa is the nearest railway station, around 20–25 minutes' walk from the venue, with frequent buses running from the station into the town centre.
