Introduction to Bike Maintenance Course with Yate Community Bike Hub

Join us at the Yate Community Bike Hub for a FREE 90min introduction to basic bike maintenance with mechanic Stewart. We are pleased to be able to host a FREE introduction to basic bike maintenance course at the Yate Community Bike Hub,16 North Walk, Yate Shopping Centre (the end of North Walk, close to the Indian restaurant) Example topics include: - essential roadworthiness checks (M Check) - how to remove a wheel and repair a puncture - lubrication, how and why The session is interactive and participants are encouraged to suggest topics the would like to cover. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. We offer a practice session the following week where you can bring your bike (or use one of ours) to practice your new skills with the help of one of our mechanics to point you in the right direction if you need it No experience necessary. Suitable for age 12+ when accompanied by an adult (please book tickets for all attendees) This course is offered free to participants thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council. If you like what we do, we welcome you to "pay it forward" with a suggested donation of £5 to the Hub on the night so that we can continue to offer courses and events.
