Land and BNG Revisited: Two Years On

Land, Development & Biodiversity Net Gain: What’s Changed and What’s Next? Join us for a timely update on land acquisition, development viability and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) — what has changed, what we have learned and what comes next. Since our 2024 event, BNG has become an established part of the development process, with growing implications for land values, acquisition decisions and development viability. We’ll explore the latest requirements, practical experience of delivering BNG, the implications for landowners and developers, and the opportunities and challenges around off-site provision and biodiversity gain sites. A useful refresher for those who joined us in 2024 — and an essential update for anyone involved in land and development today. We are delighted to welcome our expert panel: Ed Blackmore, Gleeson Land Peter Canavan, Evans Jones Adam Hale, Willans LLP Solicitors Peter Hacker, Wildwood Ecology The event is kindly sponsored by Evans Jones, Willans LLP Solicitors and Wildwood Ecology. The panel discussion will be followed by a general discussion on the points raised and a chance to share common issues and questions. As usual, there will be the opportunity to catch up and network with others in the property community. We hope to see as many of you as we can!
