You will take a bag of recycled, eco and rust-dyed fabrics, stencils, rusted metal items, black thorn twigs, plus other found objects, and turn them into a meaningful hanging celebrating the history of our wise female forebears. ?The Cunning Folk. But, this is not about sorcery or magic – it’s about wisdom. You will learn about the historical suspicion and persecution of capable, shrewd women. You will stitch freely, or watch my demonstrations to inspire your work, relax, de-stress, share stories about the importance and plight of women in the past – but with laughter and cake!
