Rocking Horse Money

Independent Americana where bluegrass virtuosity meets rock’n’roll swagger, driven by rich harmonies and irresistible songs. Formed on the Fourth of July, Rocking Horse Money have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting new acts on the UK Americana scene. Built around the songwriting and vocal talents of Ollie Seymour, Laura Carrivick and John Breese, the trio combine diverse musical backgrounds to create a sound that is both rooted in tradition and strikingly original. Ollie’s rock’n’roll vocals and guitar blend seamlessly with Laura’s exceptional dobro, fiddle and mandolin playing and John’s driving double bass, banjo and guitar work. Drawing inspiration from bluegrass, country, folk and classic Americana, Rocking Horse Money deliver songs full of heart, melody and authenticity. Their debut album showcases a band whose chemistry is immediately apparent, balancing superb musicianship with memorable songwriting and rich vocal harmonies. Whether playing an intimate acoustic venue or a festival stage, Rocking Horse Money bring the spirit of Americana to life with style, passion and a healthy dose of rock’n’roll attitude.
