Stroud - People, Planet, Pint™ Sustainability Meetup

People, Planet, Pint is your local sustainability meetup, where you can find local inspiration and like-minded friends over a drink. Pop down to your local People Planet Pint meetup to find more about what's going on locally with sustainability and how you can get involved. No pitches, powerpoints or panels. Just People, Planet, Pint/s. Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally. We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas. Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink? Venue: Upstairs Bar (Accessible Via Ramp & Lift) Your Volunteer Hosts Mark Epton uses the power of branding and design to scale-up the impact of organisations tackling social and environmental challenges. Mark established Advocate design agency in 2003, one of the first ethical design agencies. He has an almost unparalleled level of experience in using branding and design to help create positive change. Plus, on a personal level, for many years he has been an environmental activist – and got some good stories to tell. Our Sponsor KRYSTAL are an award-winning, 100% renewably powered hosting provider, with datacentres in the UK, US, & Europe. They are climate positive, and their approach centres on value, quality and transparency. We are delighted to announce our partnership with Krystal (the UK's only B Corp web hosting/cloud provider), and welcome them on board as sponsors of the People, Planet, Pint events. This means the first 10 drinks are on Krystal at every event, and has allowed us to invest and upscale the series to accelerate action on climate change. About Small99, Founders of PPP At Small99, our vision is to build resilient & prosperous communities & companies. We host the UK's fastest-growing sustainability meet-ups, People Planet Pint and People Planet Pastry, which now take place in over 140+ cities across 15 countries, with around 80 events a month. We’re also breaking the mold of traditional sustainability training by empowering teams with the confidence and ownership over positive actions they can take with in person experiences. Since 2023, we have directly trained over 3,000 businesses on Net Zero and carbon reduction and have reached over 50,000 businesses with our events and digital tools.
