A safe and supportive space to share feelings about climate and ecological breakdown Climate Cafe 🌎 ☕️ Our climate cafe is open to anyone aged 18 or above who is worried about climate change. 📅 Saturday 19th September, 3pm 📍Portsmouth Library of Things & Repair Café, Unit 44, Cascades Shopping Centre, Commercial Rd, Portsmouth PO1 4RR What is a climate cafe? • A safe and supportive space to share feelings about climate and ecological breakdown • Listen to others and share your thoughts • Option to discuss community solutions to common concerns Free to attend, donations welcome Travel info: City Centre bus stops are a 5 minute walk from the venue, with buses going to Southsea, Portsmouth, Havant, Chichester and Fareham. The venue is 10 minute walk from Portsmouth & Southsea train station. ♿️ Venue info: wheelchair accessible. Toilets are outside of the unit, but in the same shopping centre. This event is hosted by Turning Tides. Turning Tides is a community interest company aiming to create an environmental community space(Climate Emergency Centre) that we can all work together on, to find solutions to the climate and social crises, supporting local issues, building community networks, sustainability and resilience.
