Guided Bird Watching and Nature Walk at Knowle Park

Join us for a relaxed morning exploring the wildlife of Knowle Park This guided walk will last around an hour and is limited to just 12 people, so early booking is advised. Your guide for the morning is Nick Bamford, whose ecology credentials include a summer working at Bristol Zoo (selling ice creams, sadly not handling the gorillas) and a childhood spent collecting bugs in his pockets, much to his mother’s horror. Nick has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the birds, bugs and fish found in Knowle Park and will share some fascinating facts about what you see along the way. Please dress for the weather and wear boots. Bring binoculars or a long lens camera if you have them, and download the Merlin app to help identify birds. This is a free event. Meet at the picnic tables by Heartwork Coffee. ☕️ Heartwork Coffee will be open before and after the walk for refreshments. Booking essential, spaces are limited to 12.
