Workshop for all adults in Scouting, providing practical advice about supporting young people and promoting positive behaviour The workshop is intended for any adult who would benefit from exploring the issues of challenging behaviour further and those needing a refresher The workshop looks at: • how it is important to know the young people you are working with, and what influences them • ways of promoting positive behaviour along with techniques for effective communication As additional needs are becoming an increasing challenge for some Sections the workshop looks at: • how Scouting can be inclusive • ways to get support and advice along with updates on current guidelines Workshop run by Suzanne Few, County EDI Team Leader Please note that it is County policy that the Group will be required to pay a fee of £10 for any adult who does not attend without prior notice.
