A morning of activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities and their parents and siblings. A morning of activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities, their siblings and parents/guardians. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult. The mornings run from 10:00-12:30 and are tailored to suit a range of needs. Participants will be able to choose from a wide range of activities ranging from adventure (bouldering, archery, ropes courses) to craft (clay models, hazel frames) and exploration activities (shelter building, pond dipping, orienteering) and so much more. * Please only book if you are sure you can come* We do see a large number of no-shows for these events. Please cancel bookings if your situation changed. We have a number of adaptations we can make to sessions to make them accessible to those with physical disabilities. Please do contact us before booking if you are unsure. You will be able to request activities when booking and we will do our best to accomodate them but please note it may not always be possible. All ages from 6-15 are welcome and all must have a parent or guardian accompanying them. Groups will be a maximum of 10 children. We welcome the participation of all SEND children, and provide a high ratio of staff to participants. However, Sayers Croft staff will not be able to help with needs relating to personal care, such as feeding or toileting. The day will be as flexible as possible to try and cater for all needs and interests. It is useful for us to have as much information as possible beforehand in order to plan successfully. We're pleased to say we are able to run our events throught the summer holidays thanks to funding from Waverley Borough Council Thriving Communities Fund By booking you agree to your child taking part in activities run by the Sayers Croft Trust, under the supervision of properly trained staff. Should the need arise, Sayers Croft staff will administer first aid and seek medical advice or emergency treatment for your child.
