Private Tour & Dinner at The Lord Leycester - West Midlands

Join the Coventry CIMA Committee for a 2 course dinner and a guided tour of The Lord Leycester Heritage Site. Join fellow CIMA members for an evening of networking, history and great conversation at one of the UK's most remarkable heritage sites, The Lord Leycester in Warwick. The evening begins with an exclusive guided tour of The Lord Leycester, one of the finest and most complete medieval timber-framed complexes in the British Isles. Steeped in over 700 years of history, this extraordinary site has been home to thriving communities since the 1300s and, for more than 450 years, has provided a home and community for veterans through the charitable vision of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. Discover the fascinating story of the Guilds of Warwick, who constructed these stunning buildings using timber from English forests dating back to the 1200s. Learn how Robert Dudley, a favourite of Queen Elizabeth I, established the Lord Leycester Hospital in 1571 for former servicemen, a tradition that continues today. The Master and Brethren still live on site, preserving centuries-old customs within the beautifully restored medieval surroundings. Following the tour, enjoy a delicious two-course dinner accompanied by drinks while continuing conversations with fellow finance and business professionals. This relaxed and informal evening offers an excellent opportunity to expand your network, reconnect with colleagues and build new professional relationships within the local CIMA community. You'll also have the chance to meet members of your local Coventry & Warwickshire Area Committee, learn more about what it's like to be involved in the committee, and share your ideas for future events. We welcome your input as we begin shaping the 2027 events programme, including suggestions for speakers, topics, venues and activities that would bring value to members across the region. Whether you're looking to strengthen your professional network, explore a unique historic venue, or help influence the future of local CIMA events, this promises to be an enjoyable and memorable evening.
