Half Term Woodland Adventure Day for Children

Get out in the great outdoors for some woodland adventures! This Woodland Adventure day will include a variety of activities, including den building and shelter making and time at the campfire for hot chocolate and marshmallow toasting. There will also be games, activities and opportunity to explore and get creative. You will need to bring a drink and a packed lunch. This is a drop off session. Minimum age is 5 yrs. The upper age of 12yrs is a guide, older children are welcome. We know that all children are different and some may be nervous to join us. An adult is welcome to stay and help them settle, but be prepared to join in the fun! It can get very cold in the woods at this time of year, so several layers and a waterproof just in case are needed. It's not so much fun if you're too cold! Also sturdy footwear for the uneven and sometimes muddy woodland paths is a must. Detailed directions and parking information will be sent with your booking information. Please look out for this! Please be aware that we must have a minimum of 4 participants for this session to run. Ticket sales close 3 days prior to the session date. If we need to cancel the session you will be refunded in full. REFUNDS: Please be aware that we are unable to refund tickets with less than 7 days notice. For refunds issued with more than 7 days notice, we are unable to refund the Eventbrite booking fees. To ensure safety for all participants and leaders, a session can be cancelled or postponed by Woodland Connections at very short notice due to forecast high winds or thunderstorms. If a suitable alternative date is not available, we will refund the full cost of the session. We will advise you if this decision has to be made either the evening before or morning of the session. Please check for emails or texts. The day is led by a level 3 qualified and experienced Forest School leader. We have up to date first aid training and all of the necessary policies, procedures and risk assessments in place. Please ask if you wish to know more about this.
