Explore the Bredagh from peatlands to town, test water quality, use monitoring equipment and learn about freshwater ecosystems. All welcome! We will begin with a visit to the upper Bredagh in the peatlands before making our way downstream along the Bredagh towards town. Along the way, we will use our Water Chemistry Kit Bags to test water quality, learn how to use a range of monitoring equipment, and record environmental data. This is a great opportunity to explore the river, learn about freshwater ecosystems, and gain hands-on experience in citizen science. No previous experience is required – everyone is welcome!
