Conversation Cafe - Honouring Our Communities

A reflective discussion about the important and positive contributions of individuals from our Black communities This Conversation Café kicks off University of Dundee’s Black History Month (BHM) 2026 celebrations. The discussion will focus on the BHM 2026 theme ‘Honouring Our Communities’. We will discuss individuals from our Back communities whose contributions mean something to us. These individuals can be our family members, neighbours, carers or even historical figures who have impacted us positively. Attendees will be invited to reflect on their own contributions to their communities, and how we can continue to work together to promote a society that is equal, safe and free from discrimination. This event is open to all students and staff the University of Dundee.
