Door Open Days - Museum of Abernethy

This year volunteers from the Museum of Abernethy will be offering visitors short guided tours of the historic centre of the village As part of Door Open Days 2026, Museum of Abernethy volunteers will guide you around the historic centre of the village, illustrated with pictures from the past. Only three tours will be available each days, with a maximum of 10 spaces, so booking is essential. Hear the story of the place from the people who live there. As ever, parking in Abernethy is at a premium so please do car share or use public transport if you can. If you do need to bring the car, please be considerate of our neighbours when you're parking, and don't block the streets - emergency vehicles can (and do!) need to get through.
