Falkland Palace Hallowe'en Trail 2026- Secret of the Scarecrows!

The Hallowe'en Trail Returns! Get ready for a day of autumn adventure, magical mischief and Halloween fun at Falkland Palace! Unfortunately, due to the forecast weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to close Falkland Palace, the gardens and the gift shop on Sunday 25 October and the trail will not run. The trail will be open all other days until 31st October. ------------------------ 🎃 The Secret of the Scarecrow: Falkland Palace Halloween Trail 2026 When you arrive, head straight to our gift shop to pick up your trail sheet and get started on your adventure! Welcome to our Halloween Trail! Follow the trail around the gardens, find the 10 scarecrows hiding amongst the autumn leaves and tick them off your trail sheet. Can you work out what the missing scarecrow was scared of and uncover The Secret of the Scarecrow? And once you’ve solved the mystery, there’s a spooktacular prize waiting for you! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and make your visit extra spooky! The trail is entirely outdoors, so wrap up warm and be prepared for some autumn weather. Event Details 📅 Monday 5th October- Saturday 31st October ⏰ The trail is open 11am–5pm daily. Arrive anytime, last admission into the trail is 3:30pm. 🎃 Child Trail Ticket: £5 - Includes your trail sheet and a spooktacular prize at the end! 🍂 Adult Helper: £2 - This is the adult’s entry fee into the gardens - inc members. 🎟️ Tickets MUST be pre-booked in advance. Usual admission applies for entry into Falkland Palace itself. Please see the Falkland Palace website for full Palace admission information. 👶 A little note for our smallest visitors Babies and children under 18 months do not need a ticket. However, if they do not have a trail ticket, they will not receive a trail sheet or prize. Tickets can be bought for them if they wish to take home a prize. Want to make your Halloween adventure even more spooky? Fablebrush Face Painting will be joining us in the orchard on selected dates throughout the trail, creating spooky and fun Halloween face-painting designs! 🎃👻🕷️ You can combine your visit with the Halloween Trail and face painting on: 📅 Saturday 10th October – Apple Day 📅 Sunday 11th October 📅 Saturday 17th October 📅 Sunday 18th October 🎨 Face painting will be available from 11am–3pm.
