During the 90-minute session, you will: • Learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy • Discover the meaning and background of Japanese characters • Practise using a traditional Japanese brush • Create your own calligraphy artwork • Learn a few simple Japanese words and expressions • Chat and connect with other participants • Enjoy a relaxed and creative community atmosphere At the end of the session, you can take your own artwork home. 🌱 Who Is It For? Our aim is to create opportunities for people to discover Japanese culture through calligraphy, creativity and community. Come along, pick up a brush, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of Japanese culture. Learn something new. Create something beautiful. Meet someone new. Notes • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the workshop starts. • Comfortable clothing is recommended as ink may stain.
