Piano Festival 2027 Performance: Harry "The Piano" Harris

The High School of Dundee Piano Festival celebrates piano music and piano playing, featuring world-class guest performer Harry Harris! Join us for our 2027 Piano Festival! Performing, supporting, and celebrating everything piano here at the High School of Dundee, our Piano Festival is a truly unique event within Scottish schools, reflecting the passion of our piano department for nurturing and celebrating pianists of all ages and stages. We are particularly excited to welcome Harry "The Piano" Harris on Thursday 11 February, the final day of the festival. This is an amazing opportunity for our young pianists to witness the thrill of world class live music in our school. Harry is an outstanding jazz pianist, improviser, and entertainer whose performances combine extraordinary musicianship with infectious energy and humour. He will lead a workshop for our pianists during the afternoon before presenting an evening concert at 6:30 – 7:30 PM. This promises to be a memorable and highly entertaining event unlike anything we have presented in previous festivals. It is certain to inspire our young musicians and provide a fantastic evening of music for the whole family.
