The Magic of Trees

Join Fife Coast and Countryside Trust for a magical morning around the campfire! We will listen to a seasonal, tree-themed story before getting stuck into some potion-making, inspired by the tale we've just heard. Ideal for families with children aged 5 and under but bigger kids are very welcome too! All resources, including marshmallows for toasting, provided. Simply bring yourselves, ready for some magic, tales and nature fun! Trees for Babies This is part of a wider event around the new Trees for Babies scheme, where Fife Climate Forest are offering a free tree to plant in a garden in celebration of a birth or a child under 5, an adoption, or in memory of a baby or child who has died, before, during, or after birth. Trees can be fantastic for remembering, and for making new memories. Different species and sizes of trees are available, and we provide protection (if needed) as well as guidance for planting and aftercare. To sign up for a free tree, please visit: Climate Action Fife | Trees for Babies If you have any questions, or do not have access to a garden but are still interested in planting a tree, please get in touch: [email protected] Participants will be able to drop in and collect their tree between 10am and 12pm, and there will be other children’s crafts/activities available throughout the morning. If you book places but then can't attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing [email protected] or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place.
