Abolish Golf return to the Wee Red, with support from The Heartbreak Diet and Surface Cat. Abolish Golf are fresh off the release of their third single ‘Into Place’. A departure from the frantic post-punk guitars and buzzy synth bass of their previous releases, it instead draws inspiration from the melodic, off-kilter sounds of ’90s alternative rock. It was recorded at Teleharmonic Studios in Perth, with bass and synth parts were added by Cameron in his flat as he recovered from a hospital stay following a heart failure diagnosis at the start of the year. After making a full recovery, 2026 has seen them hit the road and open up for the likes of Shady Nasty, The Macks and Mirror Revelations, as well as headlining shows across Scotland. They round off the year with a triumphant return to the Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh! Support comes from Edinburgh scene staples The Heartbreak Diet and Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist Surface Cat.
