Plants with Purpose: Growing Healthy, Connected Urban Ecosystems

A knowledge exchange event connecting research and practice for urban Scotland About This Event This knowledge exchange event forms part of RBGE's Plants with Purpose action-research programme. The event provides an opportunity to learn about the latest research and developments in creating healthy, connected urban ecosystems using nature-based solutions (NbS). Through presentations, site visits, networking and facilitated discussions, participants will explore case studies across Scotland, identify evidence and implementation gaps, help shape future research and practice priorities, and build connections across sectors. Workshops, roundtable discussions and surveys contribute to the research component of the programme and will inform the identification of shared priorities and evidence needs for Scotland's urban nature-based solutions community. Information collected through these activities may be aggregated and used for research purposes, with data pseudonymised where appropriate. Participation in the event is open to all, but participation in surveys and facilitated discussions during workshops and surveys contributes to the research component of the programme.
