Intuitive Embroidery, Week 1 - Learning and unlearning traditional stitches Creative stitching for relaxation. This relaxed stitching session invites you to slow down and connect with your creativity while enjoying guided meditative free-stitching without a pattern. “Learn the rules; then you can break them”. In this session, we will introduce some traditional embroidery stitches and then go off-book to experiment on our own, let the needle and thread guide us, and play with texture and colour. No experience necessary; just bring curiosity and willing hands. All materials are provided. If you’d like, you may bring fabric and a thimble if you already have them.
