Intuitive Embroidery, Week 2 - Walking a line, stitching meditation Creative stitching for relaxation. This relaxed stitching series invites you to slow down and connect with your creativity while you enjoy guided meditative free-stitching without a pattern. In this session, we will practise taking our thread for a walk, using simple line-making stitches to meander across our fabric stitch by stitch. This repetitive practice is meditative and non-objective (there is no concrete desired outcome). We allow the stitches to remain as they are without trying to correct or perfect them, simply observing as they unfold. No experience necessary; just bring curiosity and willing hands. All materials are provided. If you’d like, you may bring fabric and a thimble if you already have them. You do not need to buy anything new for this workshop.
