Full description from organizerShow less
This is the culmination of project that provides musical education for 50 children, who currently have no current provision. The result is an original piece based on a local writers poem, which celebrates Stockbridge's own ‘Scissorbeak’- promoting community storytelling, the importance of local wildlife, and conservation. Professional musicians from a similar work will accompany. This will be paired with a sister piece that was created for children in Kirkwall, Orkney and premiered earlier this year at the St Magnus festival - 'Jasper the Kirkwall Cat'.
