Winter stillness: YOGA & HORSES

A series of winter sessions of gentle yoga movement, mindfulness, meditation and interaction with horses in a pasture in Currie, Edinburgh. Winter stillnes: YOGA & HORSES Date & Time: November 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM (BST) This winter, we’re bringing a little more calm and magic to our field. Once a month, our horses and yoga teacher meet for a special session of yoga, mindfulness and connection with horses, surrounded by nature. This is about slowing down, breathing, reconnecting with yourself and enjoying the peaceful presence of our horses. We’ll adapt the session to weather conditions practicing mostly standing poses for spinal alignment with chairs available for seated yoga and meditation. A little escape from everyday life. A moment to breathe, relax and reconnect. The gentle magic of being surrounded by horses. No previous experience necessary—everyone is welcome to join! Please bring multiple layers of clothes to stay comfortable outdoors. More is more in outdoor conditions. If you'd like, bring along a flask of your favourite tea for a little catch-up after the session. There is something truly magical about sitting in our beautiful pasture, surrounded by horses and enjoying a warm drink after being completely rejuvenated by yoga. Toilet is available at the pasture.
