Workshop: Making Ideas Happen

Play our neighbourhood game, share ideas about the future of neighbourhoods & how to make them happen Have an idea in your head for your neighbourhood? Bring your idea(s) along for what you would like to see happen in your neighbourhood. It can be big, small, realistic, conceptual, silly... In a group setting we will hold a neighbourhood meeting to develop each idea and uncover what is needed to make it happen. You will put yourself in the shoes of someone else and explore their perspective whilst considering what should happen now, next and later. The ideas generated will contribute to the interactive exhibition display. This event is part of a wider upcoming event/exhibition series we are hosting in A&DS:SpACE at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, and we would love for you to be a part of it. We are hosting these events with support from Architecture and Design Scotland (A&DS), who runs the venue in collaboration with Space for Architecture, Carbon & Environment (SpACE) and are giving us access for free. • week long exhibition (14th - 17th September) in celebration of National Housing Week to explore what good homes, streets and communities look like • workshops (15th - 17th September) to invite deep exploration of ideas and tools to work towards hopeful futures.
