2026 Carols by Candlelight at Cockington Church

Join us at Cockington this Christmas Eve for a magical afternoon with family and friends of carol singing by candlelight! Family friendly carol service Over the years our carol service has become a family favourite with people coming from far and wide, hence the the reason to ask you to reserve seats which are free. Of the three services we have on Christmas Eve the 2.30pm service is especially for the younger members of the family (with accompanying adults). That said children are welcome to every service. Do remember that lighting in the park is not extensive so we do recommend you bring a torch to light your way. We very much look forward to welcoming you. But before you book... Last year we had several no shows which meant precious places were left unfilled. So please, please, please can we ask you to let us know, no matter how late, if you are unable to join us in order that we can make those seat available to others. Thank you. Busy on Christmas Eve? Don't panic! We have another Candlelit Carol Service at 4.30pm Sunday 13th which you can book online too. For added Christmas cheer we'll be serving mulled wine before the service from 4pm. Alternatively we have a Crib Service at St Matthew's, Chelston on 23rd December at 3pm. All are welcome.
