A business community for Totnes: the Forum's first open evening

Totnes businesses are building something together. Come and meet the Forum, hear what we're working on, and join us if it suits. Free. Totnes Business Forum is now live! Our first meet-up is on Wednesday 7th October, and we're looking forward to welcoming our newly signed-up members and prospective members. The purpose of the Forum is to provide a semi-structured organisation that acts as a hub for people to interact, share ideas, collaborate and innovate, helping businesses in the area to thrive. We are supported by Totnes Town Council and so benefit from engagement with relevant representatives. The evening will be as informal as possible. Following a brief introduction, there will be an opportunity to interact, ask questions and share ideas. The initial meeting is open to everyone with a business in Totnes and the surrounding area. If you'd like to join the Forum, you'll receive invitations to future meetings and to special interest groups relevant to your area of business. One of the areas for improvement highlighted in the Totnes Community Economic Plan 2025 was business waste management, so expect this to feature as one of our first projects. We're currently gathering information, so if you have thoughts or ideas in this area, we'd appreciate your views. And if you have ideas for other projects, this is your opportunity to tell us. Joining the Forum Membership starts from £5/month. TBF is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), so we aim to keep membership costs as low as possible.
