Barn Hill Open Day

Looking for an educational alternative that puts your child’s wellbeing, agency, and connection to nature at the heart of their learning? We welcome you to join us for an early autumn morning in our two-acre woodland sanctuary. Barn Hill is a self-directed, consent-based learning community for home-educated children aged 5-11. During the Open Day, you can: 🐓🐑 Explore our Space: Tour our site and meet our sheep and chickens. 👋 Meet the Team: Chat with our facilitators and get a flavor of what a day at Barn Hill is all about. 🛞 Experience the Ethos: Learn how our community meetings, "offerings," and consent-based decision-making process create a nurturing environment for every child. ❓ Ask Questions: Get all the details on our sliding-scale fees, funding options, and how your family can join our community. Whether you are curious about self-directed learning or looking for a new community for your child, we’d love to welcome you. It would be great if you could get a ticket so we can have a sense of numbers! Looking forward to meeting you from Barn Hill! 💚
