A day of gathering for pregnant women ✨ Day Gathering for Pregnant Women ✨ Kind note: this is a sliding-scale donation-based event. Please read all options at the bottom of this page to choose the donation level that genuinely fits your circumstances. Pregnancy can be such a magical time, and.... it can also be exhausting and stressful. There can be moments when we yearn for the world to stop and to have space... to rest... to remember the wonder of being pregnant... •⁠ ⁠To connect with our baby •⁠ ⁠To hang out with people who get how we feel, because they are pregnant too or have been through that initiation before. •⁠ ⁠To have the opportunity and the support to reset, take stock, make sense of the changes that have already happened, and prepare for the ones that are to come, including the big change we rarely prepare for : Becoming a Mother. Becoming a mother is one of the biggest transitions in la woman's life. It changes your body, heart, identity and relationships. Whether you're expecting your first baby or your fourth, the transition is different every time, and each one deserves to be honoured. This gentle day gives you space to explore yours, in good company. 🌿 What the day includes 10:00 to 11:00 Welcome, relax, stretch and reset 11:00 to 11:15 Tea and snacks 11:15 to 12.40 Sharing circle 1:00 Lunch 2:15 A creative exploration of your Matrescence, your transition to motherhood. 4pm-4:15pm Closing circle and tidy up 🍽 Lunch Jacket potatoes & green leaves will be provided.
