A monthly morning for men at That Leisure Shop, with bacon baps, coffee and good company. Pubs are closing. Work-life is changing. Retirement can take away everyday structure. Friendships become less frequent without anyone realising. And men are not exactly famous for saying, “I could do with someone to talk to.” Places that once brought men together are disappearing. But not every man who feels isolated is in crisis. Not every difficult patch needs specialist help. Sometimes what is missing is much simpler: somewhere to go, people to see, and a conversation that starts with something you already have in common. Introducing: Blokes Breakfast. A monthly morning at That Leisure Shop at Chelston, where men can get together over a bacon bap and a brew, meet new people and have a proper catch-up. Love motorhoming or caravanning? Great. If it’s not really your thing, you’re just as welcome. There’s no set agenda for conversation. Talk motorhomes, travel, health, work, retirement, hobbies, or whatever else comes up. Sometimes, all that's needed is a place to show up. What to expect For the first Blokes Breakfast, we’re keeping the format deliberately loose. There’s no fixed roadmap yet. The people who come along at the start will help shape what happens next, from the topics we cover to the guests we invite and the sort of mornings worth coming back for. The first Blokes Breakfast takes place on Saturday 10th October at That Leisure Shop at Chelston. We’ll start with bacon baps, tea and coffee, then Motorhome Matt will host an informal Q&A to get things going. Booking The event is free, but please register online so we know how much bacon to buy.
