*CANDLELIGHT GIG* OFFGRID: Juliette Lemoine & Chris Amer + Hilton & Walters

Real, unplugged, beautiful live music by pure candelight. Please note, the advertised start time is when our doors will open, generally music starts one hour after doors. --- OFFGRID is a night of visceral and intimate musical experience. No whirrs or hums, zero power, just pure acoustic music and candlelight... --- Juliette Lemoine’s cello and Chris Amer’s tenor guitar converse around the old melodies of Scotland, leaving space for improvisation, silence and surprise. Rooted in tradition but never tethered to it, their music unfolds like a landscape, intimate, searching and full of rich emotions. Juliette Lemoine (cello) and Chris Amer (tenor guitar) are two exceptional and accomplished new voices on the Scottish music scene. Having spent years playing together, their performances have developed the quality of an immersive dialogue characterised by rich emotional colour, close interaction and vibrant spontaneity. 2026 sees the release of One Day I Climbed The Hill, their first recorded release as a duo. Taking its name from an ancient melody in the Patrick MacDonald Collection, the EP showcases the pair exploring original and traditional music with their characteristic originality, depth and energy. Juliette and Chris are releasing One Day I Climbed The Hill with a UK tour in Autumn 2026. Their recent live highlights include their headline performance at Celtic Connections (2024), performing at London Jazz Festival (2024), and supporting folk supergroup LAU at Kings Place, London (2024). --- Chiara Imbalzano Hilton (fiddle, podorhythmie) and Alex Walters (keys, guitar) are an up-and-coming duo based in Newcastle upon Tyne whose music brings a distinctive edge to the exciting traditional repertoire of Scotland, Canada, and Italy, showcasing themes of musical migration and diaspora, and conjuring buckets of energy and spirit. --- Please note we are unable to offer refunds.
