Christmas Willow Angel Workshop (afternoon session)

Create a beautiful handmade Angel from willow this Christmas! Willow Angels Workshop at Gosforth Nature Reserve Join Dan from Daniel Sams Basketry at Gosforth Nature Reserve on Saturday 19th December for a relaxed and fun workshop where you'll weave your very own willow angel to take home. Standing around 60cm tall, she'll look beautiful beside the tree, on a hearth, in a hallway, or as a gift for someone special. No experience needed. Dan will guide you through every step, from shaping and weaving the willow to adding your finishing touches, and you'll leave with a beautiful item to enjoy. You can also stay and explore the nature reserve after the workshop, if you wish to make the most of it and enjoy the winter wildlife. The workshop is led by Dan Sams of Daniel Sams Basketry (www.daniel-sams.com), a basket maker and coppice worker with over 30 years of woodworking experience.
