Life Drawing at the Boatyard Cullercoats

Join us for a relaxed, atmospheric evening of monthly life drawing at Cullercoats' favourite coastal hangout, The Boatyard. Whether you are an experienced artist looking to practice your form, a creative hobbyist, or someone picking up a charcoal stick for the very first time, this untutored session is open to all skill levels. Bring your own favorite sketchbook or use the basic drawing materials provided on the night. Set against the cosy backdrop of exposed brickwork and rustic beachside vibes, it is the perfect creative mid-week escape. ⏱ Evening Schedule • 18:30 – Doors Open: Arrive early to secure your seat, settle in, and grab a hot or cold drink from the fully licensed Boatyard bar. • 19:00 – Drawing Begins: The session kicks off promptly at 7 PM. We will guide our professional life model through a dynamic mix of short, energetic warm-up poses followed by longer, sustained poses. • 20:00 – Short Intermission: A quick break to stretch your legs, chat with fellow attendees, and get refreshments. • 21:00 – Event Concludes: Wrap up your final sketches and head home feeling inspired! Format: Untutored and self-led. This is a respectful, welcoming space designed for you to draw at your own pace without any academic pressure.
