Seasonal Wreath Making: craft your own decorations

A creative gathering noticing the seasonal shifts and natural materials in the land, as we get crafty with them to make unique decorations. Join us for a relaxed and creative session open to anyone, regardless of 'artistic/creative ability'. Late November marks the shift time, between the autumnal colours and the crisp bare-leafed tree winter days. Come along into the warmth to ground ourselves into this seasonal transition and get creative as we say goodbye to Autumn and welcome the signs of Winter. Making natural wreaths and decorations using a wide variaty of foraged pieces will be our shared way of celebrating the season to end, and the one to come. Whether you want to honour the autumnal feel for a little longer, or you feel drawn to getting into the festive spirit and create your own homely decor or gifts for your friends for the merry season, this workshop is for you. No artistic experience is needed. Everyone can get creative and lean into the process: it will show you the way! Along with our facilitator, Roxana Caplan, you will explore shapes, forms, colours, tying, braiding and wreath making techniques to help you create your unique pieces and continue to do so in your own time as well. All materials and tools will be provided. What you can bring (if you wish): 🎨 Any found or bought pieces that you want to incorporate into your creations ✨ Curiosity and openness See you there!
