ANTI-STATIC — A Retreat Into Quiet Sunday 18th October 15:00pm - 19:00pm £55. What happens when we put down our phones, step away from the noise and give ourselves a little more space to simply be? ANTI-STATIC is a day to unplug from the constant hum of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves, our surroundings and the quieter parts of our experience. The day will unfold gently, with periods of quiet woven throughout — giving you the chance to move, rest, reflect and notice what happens when we don't have to fill every moment with noise. We'll begin with a grounding yoga flow with Eilidh, warming the body and settling into the day. Ruth will then guide a slower practice of restorative, longer-held poses, alongside therapy-based writing prompts to encourage reflection and curiosity. We'll share a simple supper together before settling into a sound bath with Sharlyn, allowing sound, stillness and rest to bring the day towards evening. We'll be able to head outside for a gentle explore of the local area — connecting with nature, the quiet and the dark. ANTI-STATIC is for anyone who feels like they could use a little less noise and a little more space. You don't need to identify as a “yoga person” or have any experience with meditation or retreats — just come as you are.
