Halloween TTRPG Takeover @ R-CADE - Saturday 24th of October 2026

Halloween TTRPG Takeover: four tables of spooky tabletop roleplaying at the R-Cade cafe. All materials provided, no experience needed! Four tables, four games, one spooky Saturday: Mothership, Kids on Bikes, SHIVER and D&D. All materials provided, everyone welcome, no experience needed. Fancy dress very welcome! Come dressed up for Halloween if you fancy it, but it's entirely optional. Roll Wi' It takes over R-CADE for a Halloween night of tabletop roleplaying. Four tables running at once, four very different flavours of fright, pick the one that grabs you. Table 1: Mothership (with Connor) Sci-fi horror. You're a crew of working stiffs in the cold dark of space, a long way from help, and something aboard has gone very wrong. Rules are light, death comes quickly, and stress is a stat. Table 2: Kids on Bikes (with Greg) Small town, big secrets. You play ordinary kids on bikes who stumble onto something strange that the grown-ups can't or won't see. Think spooky woods, walkie-talkies and a mystery only you can solve before the streetlights come on. Table 3: SHIVER (with Claire) Cinematic horror where the dice decide whether you're the hero, the coward or the first one to go down the cellar stairs. Creepy, daft and dramatic in equal measure, perfect for a Halloween night. Table 4: D&D (with Laura) The game everyone knows, with a Halloween twist. A party of adventurers, a world that would rather they weren't in it, and dice to settle every argument. The easiest place to start if you've never played before. Everything you need is provided on the night: character sheets, dice, and all the materials. Just bring yourself (and your own dice if you like rolling them). R-CADE is an 18+ venue. Tables are limited, so grab your spot early, pull up a chair, and we'll teach you the rest at the table.
