Unpaved Motions - Lochwinnoch

Join us for a day of movement and exploration! This month, we will be cycling to Lochwinnoch to warm ourselves up before a creative movement workshop facilitated by Nora. As usual, this session will be a playful opportunity to deepen your connection to the landscape, local surroundings, yourself and others through embodiment. As we firmly enter into Autumn, we are organising this day out as a way to embrace the seasonal shift and celebrate our motions together! Practical info: We will be meeting at 10:00am at Riders on the Storm cafe in Pollokshields and will set off around 11am. The cycle route is just under 30km along quiet roads and mostly paved off-road paths! Although we will be going at a gentle pace, and we aim to make the ride accessible to various abilities, please note that this is not a formal led ride! Let us know if you have any questions. You can also meet us at Lochwinnoch station, please get in touch. After the workshop, we will be getting the train back to Glasgow. No previous movement or dance experience required to attend the workshop, just come with your curiosity and openness! Kit :) - Weather-appropriate comfy clothes & shoes, - Plenty of water and lunch/snacks :) - Bike lights / headtorch and helmet!
