Wreath Making Workshop

An afternoon of wreath making with experienced florist, Sarah of Rook Botanics. Join Rook Botanics for a festive afternoon of wreath making! There will be a wide selection of seasonal foliage, traditional adornments and luxurious ribbon to make a gorgeous wreath. You're welcome to bring along any special ornaments or meaningful decorations and Sarah will be able to show you the best way to attach them. The workshop will last for two hours, so you will have plenty of time to complete your wreath. Sarah will demonstrate all the steps to make your wreath, and will be on hand throughout the session to make sure you leave with a beautiful, bespoke wreath - even if you think you're not creative! No two wreaths from a Rook Botanics' workshop look the same and you will be proud to hang it on your front door. Included in the ticket price is a glass of prosecco and a seasonal sweet treat. BYOB is welcome. Throughout the session Sarah will share tips on how to keep your wreath looking lovely throughout the festive season. Would highly recommend having a session!" - Monica. About Sarah: Sarah fell in love with flowers when she was fourteen and her love has only continued to grow! She loves to demystify floristry for beginners, and help people learn new skills and techniques that they can use at home. Rook Botanics is a creative and eclectic floral company based in Shawlands, Glasgow. Since 2021 we’ve been delivering exemplary workshops that help bring beauty, laughter and flowers into everyone’s life. We’re known for our workshops. Each year we host an array of seasonal classes and experiences throughout the year. Every wintertime we teach over 200 people to make a gorgeous festive wreath. We've also collaborated with several organisations to deliver educational, engaging and entertaining workshops. These include: Mary's Meals, Friends of Cambuslang Park, WEST Brewery and Gathering Ground CIC. Location: Taking place in the Munn Hall at Newlands South Church, a light and airy room overlooking the White Cart Water. There's free on street parking for those wishing to drive. Alternatively, it's a two minute walk from Langside train station, which is on the Cathcart circle. Included in the ticket price is a glass of prosecco and a seasonal sweet treat. BYOB is welcome. Soft drinks are also provided. Throughout the session Sarah will share tips on how to keep your wreath looking lovely and fresh for as long as possible.
