An Afternoon of Poetry and Prose with actress Rachel Fielding

Rachel Fielding is an established film, television and theatre actress and her credits include 'Maigret', 'Take Me Home', 'Heartbeat', 'This Life' and appeared in the Oscar winning short film, 'The Silent Child'. Rachel reguarly appears at the Old Mill Theatre at Sonning. Rachel will be reading some special prose and poems for National Poetry Day on the theme of 'Wonder'alongside library staff and volunteers and members of the local community. If you love listening to poetry in a lovely library setting then this event is for you. If you would like to read a published poem as part of the programme ideally with an Autumn theme or on the theme of 'Wonder' please email Jeremy at Esher Library. Key information about booking: • The event starts at 2pm • The event is suitable for adults • Please purchase a ticket for each person attending. • Tickets are available with a donation* (Minimum recommendation is £2 per person attending). • Tea and light refreshments will be available. • Please arrive 10 minutes early • Booking is essential and places are limited, so please purchase your ticket soon to avoid disappointment *Please note, minimum donation set by Eventbrite is £1.
