Barbados Diamond Dinner and Dance - London

This year we celebrate Barbados and BOCFA's 60th Anniversary The year 2026 is significant because it marks a dual Diamond Jubilee: it celebrates 60 years since Barbados gained independence and 5 years since it became a Parliamentary Republic, with the national theme, "Gathering as One Nation — The Road to 60".This evening also marks 60 years of community leadership by BOCFA. Since it was founded in November 1966—the same month and year as Barbadian Independence—BOCFA has been the first association from Barbados to be established in the United Kingdom; for six decades it has acted as a vital cornerstone for the diaspora, preserving its cultural heritage and promoting strong community ties ever since its early days at the Lyceum until the present time.
