Jazz at George IV - The Macaroons

This South London 6-piece play an mixture of upbeat jazz & blues – with a dash of European quirkiness. Their musical melange can take you from the streets of New Orleans and the beaches of Brazil to the nightclubs of Paris. The band have been playing festivals and numerous venues across London and the UK for the past three years, gigging ever farther afield, with jazz and blues festival bookings in the Midlands, Wales and Kent, with a projected French tour on the cards this summer. “If you're looking for a band whose repertoire is wider than the Atlantic, then the Macaroons are your go-to group. They cover a lot of ground, from pop to modern jazz with all the stops in-between. The Macaroons are Alexandra Stanton on trumpet & vocals, James Hinton on guitar, Nigel Summerley on drums, vocal &harmonica, Chris Stanton on bass and Chris Francis on saxes & flute along with guest keyboard player Caroline Cooper. A word about our seating arrangements: We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six. We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket. Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets. You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm.
