Rums of Trinidad

Join Richmond Rum Club’s Trinidad Rum event to explore the island’s polished rum style. Welcome to the Richmond Rum Club, hosted by 2Rumheads! This Month: "Rums of Trinidad" This month, we’re turning our attention to Trinidad, a well‑established rum destination known for its clean, refined, and easy‑drinking profile. With one major distillery shaping the island’s output, Trinidad rums are appreciated for subtle complexity, gentle florals, soft sweetness, and creamy finishes that make them approachable for a wide range of rum fans. These are rums that favour precision over intensity, clarity over funk, and rounded balance that suits both casual sipping and thoughtful exploration. It’s a style many people enjoy for its reliability, versatility, and understated charm. Whether you’re a seasoned rum enthusiast or simply curious about different Caribbean expressions, this evening offers a relaxed, flavour‑focused look at what Trinidad brings to the glass. Join us at The Hope for a guided tasting featuring Trinidad’s hallmark notes — floral aromatics, tidy structure, and creamy, well‑rounded finishes. Expect friendly conversation, a welcoming atmosphere, and the chance to connect with fellow rum lovers. Our Rum Club meets monthly to explore different rum styles, production methods, and flavour profiles — an ever‑expanding journey into the world of rum. Come along and savour the smooth, approachable character of Trinidad’s rums. We can’t wait to share this with you.
