The Deep Dive: ideas, mapping and food Wednesday 11th Nov at The Deep Hull, 14:30-16.30 (+ food and networking at Berts, Hull 16.30-18.30) Are you using art, movement, music, theatre, or visual culture to improve people’s health and wellbeing? Are you a creative freelancer itching to develop your practice to support health and wellbeing outcomes, but not sure how to do this or where to start? We are building a bold, regional arts and health gathering, and we need your voice, ideas, and real experience in the room from day one. Phase one of the plan is simple: we want to map who is doing what, uncover what you actually need to thrive, and match those insights to opportunities, and direct support for local practitioners. We are running these gatherings alongside two creative powerhouses who know this space inside out: • Elaine Burke (Arts Consultant and NHS Psychotherapist) : Elaine provides unmatched expertise in bridging health partners, schools, cultural organisations, private sector companies and others. • Lisa Mallaghan (Chief Officer, HEY Creative): Lisa has over two decades under her belt leading major cultural programmes. This is an accessible workshop opening up the wider landscape, breaking down funding routes, partner expectations, and how to scale your work safely. Learn from and connect with sector leaders and then join us for a social at Berts' Pizzeria on Humber Street from 4.30 until 6.30pm.
