Bluetones (acoustic)

An evening with Britpop legends, the Bluetones - at St Nicholas', Beverley An intimate evening with two members of Britpop legends The Bluetones, as Mark Morriss and Adam Devlin bring the band’s much-loved songs to life in a special acoustic setting. With over three decades of songwriting and touring behind them, and a catalogue spanning six albums and fourteen Top 40 singles, Morriss and Devlin strip things back to the essence—melody, harmony, and musicianship—perfectly suited to the atmospheric surroundings of St Nicholas’ Church. Fresh from a near sold-out UK tour, this acoustic show offers something more personal: two hours of classic songs, deep cuts, and stories from the road, delivered with warmth, humour, and the easy chemistry of a partnership forged over 30 years. Expect an engaging, up-close performance that captures the spirit of The Bluetones in a way few shows can. “…add to that Mark’s unique voice, the requisite melodies and soaring guitars and you could also make reference to several classic West Coast USA artists and beyond.” – Louder Than War “…brilliant as always, great music and very engaging with the audience. Mark has a great voice… Brilliant night!” – Audience review
