HO HO HOTH Reloaded - 6 Hours of day racing on the world famous Humber Bridge in the world's most painful Santa run... HO HO HOTH 2026 - There's No Hiding! Just when you thought it was safe to relax into Christmas, there's just one last unexpected speed bump before you can settle into a life of mince pies for an entire month. Specifically, running, walking, or crawling across the Humber Bridge for 6 hours. However, in a twist that sets it apart from all other HOTH events, it finishes at 6pm, which gives you a night off to do the better things in life (including crying a bit because your legs hurt.) HO HO HOTH is the traditional final event of the HOTH year, and what a way to go out! 6 hours of running in the cold / warm / wet / windy (odds on for cold...) of December between 12 noon and 6pm, and taking part in what's celebrated as the world's longest and most painful Santa run! HO HO HOTH sees competitors taking on the tough and demanding Hell On The Humber route on the World famous Humber Bridge for six hours, as they try to complete as many 4 mile laps as possible in that time. There's no upper mileage limit, though there are new course records to be set, and all we ask is that participants complete a minimum of one lap every 3 hours. How hard could it be??? You don't have to be an Ultra runner to take part in the HOTH Event Series, though many experienced long distance runners from across the country and even Europe do return to the event year after year and rack up some impressive distances. You don't even have to be a runner to take part, walkers are always welcome. All we ask is that you complete the minimum number of laps, you're 16 or over (under 18's require parental consent), and that you be part of the event with the right attitude, that being one of enjoyment, inclusion, and support. Egos aren't welcome! Every finisher receives the coveted finisher's shirt and medal! Please note: There are only 100 entries available for HO HO HOTH 2025, and when they're gone, they're gone.
