Lincs Film Festival

A day of short films, features, and live entertainment across four Scunthorpe venues. Celebrating creatives across the county and beyond. Lincolnshire’s film community, in one day. Lincs Film Festival is where filmmakers, audiences, and local talent connect. Based in Lincolnshire, with an eye on the wider world, we bring a day of screenings, talks, and live entertainment to the heart of Scunthorpe. The name says it: Lincs is about linking people together, from first-time student filmmakers to established storytellers. Why come Whether you’re a filmmaker, a film fan, a student, or just curious, you can drop in for one block or spend the whole day. You’ll see work you won’t find on a streaming service, meet the people who made it, and be part of a festival that is growing slowly and steadily across Lincolnshire. Awards The festival recognises Best Comedy, Best Drama, Best Student Film, and Honourable Mentions plus the new Location Lincs Award for Best Film Set in Lincolnshire. We also celebrate some of the great creative talent behind these films with awards for best cinemtogprahy, writing and more. Partners Presented by Shepherd Creative, in partnership with Location Lincs.
